www.chinabuses.org: Kenway Automotive Drivelines and Oerlikon Drive Systems signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 15th of August 2016 for a future joint venture in China. The future joint venture (which is subject to final and binding agreements between the parties and the necessary approvals by the Chinese authorities) will be located in Suzhou and will be engaged in the manufacture and sales of axles for buses and coaches. It is envisioned that the joint venture’s products will be distributed on a worldwide basis with the initial focus on China. This strategic cooperation between two companies is targeting to optimize and maximize Kenway’s and Oerlikon’s market strength, deepen collaboration, further expand in and penetrate the developing bus and coach axle markets.
