On September 3, Yutong officially released a business report. According to the report, the bus maker produced 3,735 units buses & coaches and sold 3,822 units in August. For detailed information, please refer to Table 1 below.

On August 7 and 8, 70 units Yutong school buses officially embarked on their journey to Hangzhou, Zhejiang province. They include 39 units 5.9-meter ZK6595DX6 and 31 units 8.7-meter ZK6875DX6, all of which fully comply with China’s National VI Emission Standards.

On August, 27, Yutong officially released its Power Battery Safety Standards. On the same day, it broadcast live the world’s first test on power batteries’ safety.

On August 31, 65 units Yutong intelligent school buses officially started operation in Changshan county, Quzhou, Zhejiang province, ushering in a brand new era of school children’s commute travel. More specifically, they consist of 45 units ZK6575DX and 20 units ZK6805DX.

Also in August, Yutong 2020 Technological Breakthrough & New Product Award Conference. Those individuals and teams who made significant contributions to the company’s innovations and improvement of overall competitiveness in 2020 were awarded with a total prize worth 8.42 million RMB.

In the first eight months of this year, the bus maker produced 27,108 units buses & coaches, up by 19.08% year on year. In the same period, it sold 27,213 units buses & coaches, up by 18.82% year on year. For the detailed information, please refer to Table 2 below.
