On June 1, BYD officially revealed its 2022 Tang electric passenger vehicles (three models) with a price tag ranging from 279,800 RMB to 339,800 RMB. On the same day, the company rolled out more favorable policies for customers.

Built on the huge success of their predecessors, BYD 2022 Tang electric passenger vehicles incorporate more Chinese characteristics and possess more attractive appearances. They have a rotating 12.3-inch Pad or a rotating 15.6-inch Pad. Equipped with the latest DiLink 4.0 intelligent system, the three models have advanced and customized Dynaudio sound systems, aromatic system. With a seat layout of 2+3+2, they adopt NAPPA leather seat furnishings.

Trial operation data suggest that BYD 2022 Tang electric passenger vehicle is able to drive 730 km continuously, greatly strengthening its overall competitiveness in the market.

Equipped with front axle 168 kW or 180 kW electric motor (two-wheel-drive) or front and rear axle 180 kW/350 Nm or 200 kW/350 Nm electric motor (four-wheel-drive), BYD 2022 Tang electric passenger vehicle can reach a speed of 100 km/h from a standstill in just 4.4 seconds. Thanks to Brembo six-piston brake calipers, it can come to a standstill from a speed of 100 km/h with a braking distance of 36.8 meters. Its DiPilot intelligent driving system, ACC-S&G self-adapting cruising system and ICC system enable the vehicle achieve higher intelligence and more intelligent driving.

With blade batteries (108.8 kWh) and LCB high-strength body structures, BYD 2022 Tang electric passenger vehicles all have eight safety airbags and achieve higher safety standards.
