According to the official website of the State Administration for Market Regulation, on July 29, BYD Auto Industry Co., Ltd. has decided to recall some Tang DM electric vehicles produced from April 5, 2021 to April 18, 2022, a total of 52,928 units. The reason for the recall is that some vehicle power battery pack trays have the risk of water ingress, which may cause arcing of the high-voltage system, posing a safety hazard.
