September 4, 2023, Shanghai, China, XCMG's digital intelligent construction cluster has once again made an appearance on the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway, actively participating in road maintenance and construction. XCMG's RP2405 and RP1253T pavers have demonstrated exceptional performance and advanced technology in achieving high-quality paving. This year marks the third involvement of XCMG's road machinery in the construction of the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway. In the 5-kilometer Changzhou section with segmented closed centralized maintenance, XCMG's digital intelligent construction cluster was employed for road surface construction operations.

XCMG's RP2405 and RP1253T pavers worked in tandem, providing stability and adaptability to the operation conditions. Several intelligent XD133S double drum rollers began compacting the road surface immediately after paving, coordinating with the pavers in terms of process performance.

XCMG's digital intelligent construction cluster made use of high-precision Beidou satellite positioning technology. The RP2405 paver employed satellite positioning sensors to accurately determine the center position of the road width, ensuring precise positioning of the compaction area.

The performance of XCMG's digital intelligent construction cluster was outstanding, resulting in a uniform distribution of final road compaction ranging from 99.6% to 99.9%, with a 100% qualification rate for the depth of water infiltration structures. The application of digital intelligent construction technology, compared to traditional construction processes, effectively enhanced quality control during construction, reduced post-operation maintenance costs, helped customers reduce expenses, and achieved a win-win outcome.
