China New Energy Vans See 22.4% Sales Growth in July 2025

In July 2025, domestic sales of new energy vans once again exceeded 25,000 units, with both year-on-year and month-on-month increases! From January to July 2025, cumulative sales of new energy vans reached 146,000 units, with a year-on-year growth rate of 15%!

In July, Farizon sold over 5,000 units, reclaiming the championship! SAIC Maxus, Foton Motor, and JMC Motors all saw growth rates exceeding 100%! Senyuan Automobile made its first entry into the top ten monthly rankings!

July Sales Ranking

New energy vans (with a vehicle length of 4.5 to 7 meters, mainly closed van-type logistics vehicles) sold 25,362 units in July 2025, with a year-on-year growth rate rising to 22.43% and a slight month-on-month increase of 4.20%!

Farizon Commercial Vehicles experienced explosive growth, with 5,387 units sold in July, a year-on-year increase of 85.31%, winning the championship for the month. Wuling, with 4,898 units, moved to second place; Changan Automobile stood alone in the 3,000+ category, ranking third.

The second tier was reshuffled, with SAIC Maxus selling 2,175 units, a significant increase of 125%; Foton Motor sold 2,049 units, a surge of 148%, rising to fourth and fifth place respectively; Richi Automobiles sold 2,043 units, ranking sixth by a margin of just six units; Jiangling Motors, with 1,288 units sold in the month, saw a year-on-year increase of 132.5%, ranking seventh.

From January to July 2025, domestic sales of new energy vans reached 146,045 units, with the growth rate of 15.06% accelerating slightly!

The ranking of enterprises by cumulative sales of new energy vans is as follows: Wuling Motors, Farizon Commercial Vehicles, Changan Automobile (including Changan Kaicheng and Changan Kuayue), Riichi Automobiles, SAIC Maxus, Foton Motor, JMC Motors, Karry New Energy, Dongfeng Motor Corporation, Guizhou Changjiang, Xinyuan Automobile, and Senyuan Automobile.
