On September 8, 2025, the IAA Mobility auto show opened in Munich, Germany. Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor (Dongfeng Fengxing) introduced two new models – the Fengxing Xinghai S7 REEV and the Fengxing Yacht U Tour PHEV – both making their world premiere. The company also marked the occasion with a ceremony to deliver its first 100 vehicles to European customers. Dongfeng Motor Vice President You Zheng attended the event.
The Fengxing Xinghai S7 REEV is a centerpiece of Dongfeng’s global strategy. Built on the GCMA global platform and powered by Mach hybrid technology, it achieves an ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.191Cd, a pure electric range of 235 km, and a combined range of 1,250 km. It comes equipped with L2+ intelligent driving features and a body made with 75% high-strength steel, tailored to the needs of the European market.
The Fengxing Yacht U Tour PHEV is designed with families in mind. It boasts a 2,900 mm wheelbase – the longest in its class – along with a flexible 2+2+3 seating layout and NAPPA leather zero-pressure seats. Powered by a Mitsubishi 1.5T engine paired with a 7DCT transmission, it balances strong performance with fuel efficiency as low as 6.6L/100km. Like the S7 REEV, it also offers L2+ intelligent driving, broadening Dongfeng’s lineup.
At the show, Dongfeng officially rolled out its global “Shuangqing 2030 Plan.” Covering both passenger and commercial vehicles, the plan is designed to meet diverse needs across international markets. By 2030, the company aims to establish nine new overseas smart factories, enable local delivery within four weeks, add 300 sales outlets and 300 service centers, and reduce its service radius from 120 km to 65 km, making support faster and more accessible.

During the delivery ceremony, Dongfeng presented a commemorative model car engraved with “100 S7s for Europe” to its German dealer. The dealer noted that Dongfeng’s quality gives them confidence in the market and pledged to earn customer trust through excellent service.
