2025/11/07 Buses

In September 2025, wholesale sales of new-energy large vans surged past the 20,000-unit mark for the first time, grabbing 52.1% of the entire new-energy van segment—more than half the market. Volume rocketed 176.7% year-on-year and jumped 34.6% month-on-month, making large vans the fastest-growing slice of the new-energy van market. After nine months, cumulative sales have already reached 101,000 units, showing unstoppable expansion.

Farizon New-Energy Commercial Vehicles sold 5,779 units in September, locking in a 28.8% share—nearly one-third of the market—and underlining its title as the segment’s pacesetter. RIICH Auto moved 2,576 units for a 12.9% slice, good for second place, but only 64 vehicles ahead of third-ranked SAIC Maxus (2,512 units, 12.5%), meaning the silver medal could change hands at any moment.

In the second tier, Beiqi Foton and JMC posted steady gains: Foton delivered 1,874 units (9.4% share) and JMC 1,622 units (8.1%), together accounting for almost one-fifth of monthly volume.

The third tier is rounded out by Liuzhou Wuling New Energy, Chery Commercial Vehicles, Changan Kaicheng, Xinyuan Auto and Xiamen King Long, ranking sixth through tenth. Their September tallies ranged from 1,173 to 262 units, with market share tapering from 5.9% down to 1.3%.
