BYD Debuts New C11 in CCVS, Accelerating Electrification of Passenger Transport

2025/11/13 Buses

November 10-13– BYD's new C11 coach made its exhibition debut at the 2025 China Commercial Vehicles Show (CCVS) since its market launch, showcasing comprehensive transport solutions for tourist travel, commuting, and bus transit scenarios. The C11's core strength stems from comprehensive technological innovations of the e-BUS Platform 3.0, not only fulfilling the promise of "accelerating coach electrification" but also setting new industry benchmarks for safety, efficiency, and intelligence with multiple world-first technologies including an all-domain 1000V high-voltage architecture.

Safety Innovations

The coach features the industry's first CTC (Cell-to-Chassis) battery integration technology, where Blade Batteries are deeply integrated with the chassis, combined with a ten-layer protection battery pack, significantly enhancing both vehicle safety and space utilization. Equipped with the TBC High-Speed Tire Blow-out Stability System, Driver Disability Assist System 2.0, and a 1000mm ultra-wide emergency door, it establishes a comprehensive safety protection network for all scenarios.

Efficiency Enhancements

The all-domain 1000V high-voltage architecture, paired with 1500V silicon carbide power chips, achieves a peak efficiency of 99.84% and reduces energy consumption by 18%. Coupled with a seven-in-one thermal management system, the vehicle's overall energy consumption is reduced by 18%, while low-temperature range (at -15°C) is increased by 50-80 km. Offering multiple battery capacity options, it achieves a range of up to 400 km under full load with air conditioning operational.

Comfort Features

The C11 is the first coach to be equipped with the DiSus-A Intelligent Body Control System and the iTAC intelligent torque control system. Combined with intelligent configurations and a luxurious interior, these features provide passengers with a superior comfort experience.

The BYD C11 has garnered continuous orders since its launch just one month ago and is currently in the process of being delivered. Some vehicles are already serving at the 15th National Games, providing green and intelligent transportation support for event transfers and shuttle services. Moving forward, BYD will launch electric coaches of different lengths based on the e-BUS Platform 3.0, utilizing this product matrix to help accelerate the global electrification of coaches.

As the reigning champion for new energy coach exports for two consecutive years, statistics show that from January to October, BYD's export sales of new energy coaches reached 3,665 units, capturing a 26.57% market share and maintaining the top position in the industry. It remains the only brand with new energy coach exports exceeding 3,600 units.

Currently, BYD's commercial vehicles have reached over 70 countries and regions, more than 400 cities globally, with cumulative deliveries exceeding 89,000 pure electric buses. This extensive overseas market experience lays a solid foundation for the global launch of the C11. The company will continue to rely on technological innovation to meet stringent standards and diverse scenarios, accelerating its worldwide promotion.
