The 21 bus makers most closely watched by the industry shipped 12,000 vehicles (over 3.5 m in length) in December 2025, a year-on-year jump of 64 % and a month-on-month surge of 113 %. From January to December 2025, their combined exports reached 78,000 units, up 27 % for the full year.

Yutong, the sector’s flagship, kept the top spot on all three cumulative charts—total exports, city buses and large- & medium-sized coaches—and reclaimed the monthly crown in December. King Long and Golden Dragon ranked second and third for total exports. Higer rose to December runner-up and took the full-year silver in the large- & medium-coach segment, while BYD finished second in city-bus exports. Ankai, after months of high growth, secured third place in the large- & medium-coach tally.
Full-year exports: 78,313 buses and coaches, an increase of 26.68 %.

Yutong alone exported more than 17,000 vehicles, an undisputed industry record. Runner-up King Long exceeded 12,000 units—up 65 % and a new company milestone—while third-placed Golden Dragon shipped 9,326 vehicles, just shy of the 10,000-unit mark. Higer followed closely with 8,741 exports.
Compared with November, only the sixth and seventh positions on the cumulative table changed: Ankai, turbo-charged by a December spike, ended the year above 5,000 units an
d led all brands with a 153 % annual increase, moving into sixth place, while Foton AUV, also up sharply this year, slipped to seventh.
