In February 2026, China's multi-cylinder diesel engine sales reached 317,400 units, down 25.48% month-on-month and 7.30% year-on-year. For January-February, cumulative sales hit 743,300 units, up 9.18% year-on-year.

The top ten enterprises by cumulative sales for January-February were: Weichai, Yuchai, Quanchai, Yunnei, YTO, Dongfeng Cummins, Xinchai, SDEC, FAWDE, and Hive Power— with some ranking changes from previous months. The top ten accounted for 79.31% of total multi-cylinder diesel engine sales, a slight decline from January.

In January-February 2026, Weichai cumulatively sold 155,600 multi-cylinder diesel engines, achieving 15.25% year-on-year growth and capturing 20.93% market share—up 1.1 percentage points year-on-year. Anhui Quanchai ranked third with cumulative sales of 61,700 units, up 0.70% year-on-year, securing 8.30% market share. Yunnei Power climbed one spot to fourth place with cumulative sales of 55,700 units, up 5.95% year-on-year, capturing 7.50% market share. These top four were the only enterprises surpassing 50,000 units in cumulative sales.

Other climbers in January-February 2026 included SDEC and FAWDE. SDEC ranked eighth, up one position from the previous month, with cumulative sales of 29,700 units—up 12% year-on-year—and 3.99% market share (up 0.1 percentage points year-on-year). FAWDE re-entered the top ten at ninth place with cumulative sales of 29,500 units, securing 3.97% market share.
