Meanwhile, the Yuejin brand continued to spearhead new energy transformation in the light truck sector.

Light Van Segment: DANA Series Drives Dominance

The light van market maintained steady growth, propelled by the DANA series' strong performance. In March, SAIC Maxus sold 12,108 light vans—a 53% YoY increase—further solidifying its position as "China's No. 1 Light Van Brand."

The new energy light van segment saw explosive growth. The DANA series, a core model, sold 4,607 units in March—surging over 300% YoY to hit a new monthly high. Launched in February, the all-new DANA V1 (equipped with a CATL Tianxing 50kWh battery) injected fresh momentum. The new model delivers triple upgrades in cruising range, charging efficiency, and warranty service—all at the same price point—helping SAIC Maxus maintain its leading edge in the new energy light van segment.

Pickup Segment: New Models Fuel Record Domestic Sales

The pickup truck segment fully unleashed its new model momentum, with domestic sales exceeding 1,500 units. In March, SAIC Maxus sold 6,499 pickups in total—a 48% YoY increase—including domestic sales of over 1,500 units, a new monthly record.

On March 30, three new models launched simultaneously: the all-new Interstellar L, 2026 Interstellar EV, and 2026 T60. This full-scenario product matrix comprehensively caters to diverse customer needs. Additionally, the industry's first "7-day free trial" program was introduced, allowing users to thoroughly experience vehicle performance before purchase—ensuring confident, informed decisions.

Yuejin Light Trucks: Volume and Efficiency Gains

Yuejin light trucks achieved both volume growth and efficiency improvements, with remarkable progress in new energy transformation. In March, the SAIC Maxus Yuejin brand sold 5,041 units in total, with wholesale volume rising 45% YoY. NEV sales increased 49% YoY, accounting for more than half of total sales—underscoring strong resilience in the brand's new energy development.

Overseas Sales: New Heights and Global Recognition

Overseas sales exceeded 10,000 units, marking a new high as the company made solid strides in its "going global" strategy. At the 47th Bangkok International Motor Show in March, SAIC Maxus showcased four pure electric light commercial vehicles: the eDeliver 3, eDeliver 5, eDeliver 7, and eDeliver 9. The electric pickup eTerron 9 also made its Thai debut—proactively expanding overseas markets with a full-scenario new energy commercial vehicle lineup.

International logistics giant DHL Group visited Shanghai and held in-depth negotiations with SAIC Maxus on electric commercial vehicle orders—following consecutive repeat orders last year—affirming product quality through concrete action.

SAIC Maxus delivered standout overseas results in March: total sales reached 11,129 units, a 32% YoY increase. The eDeliver 5 (known domestically as the DANA V1) retained its title as the best-selling pure electric commercial vehicle in Singapore and Hong Kong, China. SAIC Maxus pickups continued to hold the top spot as "China's No. 1 Exporter of High-End Pickups", with 30% of exports going to developed markets such as Australia, New Zealand, and Europe, and over 60% to Latin America—maintaining a leading position in developed markets with strict global standards.

Outlook: Leading the Industry into a New Era

Building on its March sales high and steady Q1 growth, SAIC Maxus will continue pursuing its strategic vision of becoming a "Global Leader in Light Commercial Vehicles." The company will further deepen its new energy transformation and global footprint—delivering higher-quality products and services worldwide, and leading the light commercial vehicle industry into a new era of green, intelligent, and globalized high-quality development.
