Approved by both the Hong Kong and Macao governments, the Express operates direct coach services across the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, with stops in downtown areas of both cities for seamless point-to-point connectivity. The route currently runs 62 daily departures, serving an average of 40,000 to 50,000 passengers per month.

Tailored to the specific operational demands of the route, Zhongtong has developed the 12-meter H12 extended-range coach. Combining pure-electric driving with fuel-powered range extension, the model ensures low-carbon emissions while enhancing long-haul viability, offering a practical pathway for the new-energy transition of cross-border passenger transport.

 

The bus features a 49+1 seating layout with a maximum capacity of 49 passengers, fully meeting the Express's daily capacity requirements.

Given the route's long distance, varied terrain, and rigorous safety standards, the H12 is equipped with a comprehensive intelligent safety monitoring system and active warning devices. With optimized powertrain performance, enhanced safety features, and superior ride comfort, the bus delivers a safer, quieter, and more pleasant low-carbon travel experience for passengers between Hong Kong and Macao.
