BYD's Thailand plant has produced its 100,000th new energy vehicle, marking a new milestone for the company's local operations.

BYD Thailand employees, the vehicle owner, media and other guests attended the event and witnessed the milestone.

The 100,000th vehicle was a BYD ATTO 3. As the first BYD model launched in Thailand, the ATTO 3 has been part of BYD's development in the country, from entering the Thai market to building local production capabilities.

The production of the 100,000th new energy vehicle marks a new stage in BYD's localization in Thailand.

Today, 95% of employees at BYD's Thailand plant are Thai nationals, while around 50% of parts and materials are sourced locally. Five BYD models have also received “Made in Thailand” certification.

As production continues to grow, BYD is expanding its local manufacturing, talent development and supply chain operations. The company is also becoming more closely connected with Thailand's new energy vehicle industry.

During the event, BYD also held a vehicle delivery ceremony. Media and customers visited the assembly, welding, stamping and battery production areas to learn how new energy vehicles are produced, from components to complete vehicles.

Guests also discussed vehicle experience, local manufacturing and BYD's future development in Thailand.

From launching its first model in Thailand to producing its 100,000th new energy vehicle, BYD has entered a new stage of development in the country.

Going forward, BYD will continue to expand its local manufacturing and business operations in Thailand and work more closely with the country's new energy vehicle industry.
