JAC N90 Expands into Southern Malaysia with Six-Year Warranty and Local Service Support

2026/10/13 Trucks
JAC Motors Malaysia is expanding its presence in southern Malaysia with the regional introduction of the new JAC N90 light-duty truck. The launch, held in mid-September in Batu Pahat, Johor, also saw the delivery of three JAC N80 trucks to local customers.

The event was organised by JAC Motors Malaysia and its authorised dealer, BP United Truck & Auto Sdn Bhd. It brought together company executives, dealer representatives and customers from the local transport sector.

First unveiled at the Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo (MCVE) 2026 in May, the JAC N90 is aimed at businesses that need a reliable truck for daily operations. According to BP United Truck & Auto Managing Director Tu Chin Long, the model is well suited to local industries, including furniture manufacturing, palm oil and other manufacturing businesses.

The dealer has seven additional units on order, reflecting continued interest in the brand.

Warranty and Running Costs in Focus

The JAC N90 comes with a six-year or 300,000 km warranty, whichever comes first, along with a free service programme covering up to 100,000 km, subject to terms and conditions.

Power comes from a Cummins B4.5 Euro 5 engine rated at 160, paired with an Eaton FAST ESO-6MT transmission. The truck also features a robust chassis, a 130-litre fuel tank and 360-degree cameras to improve visibility and safety.

Inside the cab, an optional air-suspension driver's seat and airbags are available to improve comfort during daily operations.

JAC Motors Malaysia is also highlighting fuel efficiency, manageable maintenance costs and vehicle uptime as key considerations for commercial vehicle operators. The company says typical delivery takes around one month from order to delivery.

Local Service Network Supports Growth

After-sales support is another part of JAC Motors Malaysia's market strategy. Its new 3S centre in Batu Pahat brings sales, servicing and spare parts under one roof, giving customers in Johor and the surrounding region access to local support.

During the event, JAC N80 trucks were handed over to three customers: Artak Industry, Gaya Warisan Holdings Sdn Bhd and New Chance Oil Trading Sdn Bhd.

JAC Motors Malaysia is currently selling around 100 trucks per month, with double-digit growth over the past 12 months. Sales Director Chai Ming Fatt said sales had exceeded expectations, pointing to customer acceptance of the brand and its after-sales support.

Deputy Managing Director Jason Jia said the company aims to serve small and medium-sized businesses, urban logistics operators and corporate fleets with commercial vehicles designed for reliability, durability and versatility.

For JAC Motors Malaysia, the N90 launch is part of a broader effort to build its customer base in southern Malaysia through product offerings, warranty coverage and local service support.
