The C3H adds a new option for customers looking for a 7.5-tonne truck, while the HOHAN MAX targets large logistics operators. Both models are imported as completely knocked-down (CKD) kits, supporting HS Group’s plan to serve a wider range of commercial transport customers.
C3H Targets SMEs and Logistics Companies
The C3H fills a gap in HS Group’s product lineup. While many of the company’s existing customers operate heavy trucks for long-distance transport, the new model is designed for lighter-duty applications, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and logistics companies.
The diesel version will lead the initial launch, with an electric version planned for a later stage. For now, the diesel model meets Euro 5 emission standards and is expected to appeal to operators who have concerns about the availability of charging infrastructure.
HS Group expects to sell around 500 C3H trucks over the next 18 months. Box-body cargo transport is expected to be one of the model’s main applications.
The truck is powered by a turbocharged and intercooled Cummins ISF3.8S5154 four-stroke diesel engine with a displacement of 3.8 litres. It produces 115 kW at 2,600 rpm and delivers maximum torque of 491 Nm between 1,200 and 1,900 rpm.
Safety and comfort features include dual-circuit air brakes, ABS, ASR and a rear-view camera. A wider track is designed to improve stability, while the cabin features comfort-oriented seating.
HS Group offers a warranty of six years or 300,000 km, whichever comes first.

HOHAN MAX Targets Large Fleet Operators
The HOHAN MAX is a new-generation truck developed for larger transport and logistics operations. The “MAX” name represents the company’s focus on a younger generation of trucks, greater efficiency and power.

The model is available in 4x2, 6x2 and 6x4 configurations, giving operators more choices to suit their transport needs. Like the C3H, it is imported as a CKD kit and meets Euro V emission standards.
The HOHAN MAX is powered by either an MC11 or MC13 engine. Customers can choose between automated manual transmission (AMT) and manual transmission, with engine outputs of 440 hp or 540 hp.

The MC11 delivers 2,100 Nm of torque between 1,000 and 1,400 rpm, while the MC13 produces 2,500 Nm over the same engine-speed range.
The truck comes with daytime running lights and electric cabin lifting as standard. A telematics platform is available as an option to support fleet management.
Unlike the C3H, which comes with a mileage-limited warranty, the HOHAN MAX is covered by a three-year warranty with unlimited mileage.
HS Group expects sales of the HOHAN MAX to reach around 500 units over the next 18 months.
With the C3H serving lighter-duty transport and the HOHAN MAX targeting large fleet operators, HS Group is broadening its product range to meet the needs of more customers in Malaysia’s commercial vehicle market.
