Qingling Delivers First Batch of 50 New-Energy EVC61 Electric Tractors to Vietna

2026/11/05 SPVs
Recently, the delivery ceremony for "Qingling's First Batch of 50 New-Energy EVC61 Electric Tractors Exported to Vietnam" — held under the theme "Moving Forward Together for Sustainable Development" — took place at the Chan May Port terminal of Hue Hao Hung Co., Ltd. in Vietnam. Partners and guest representatives from across the industrial chain, including Qingling Motors, Vietnam's Vinh Phat Auto and Vietnam's Hao Hung Group, gathered to witness the large-scale rollout of Qingling's new-energy commercial vehicles in the Vietnamese market. This marks a landmark achievement of Qingling's "Chongqing Vehicles Going Global" strategy and an important step in building a green logistics corridor and advancing high-quality Belt and Road cooperation between Chinese and Vietnamese enterprises.
Batch Delivery: A Scale Breakthrough for New-Energy Exports

In 2025, Qingling's first two EVC electric tractor units exported to Vietnam completed real-world trial operations. With comprehensive advantages in power performance, range, operating cost, and safety and reliability, they fully validated the product's suitability in port logistics, fixed-route logistics and other scenarios, earning high recognition from customers and the industry.
The delivery ceremony was held in the Chan May Port area, where 50 Qingling EVC61 battery-swap tractors were officially handed over and put into service, joining the Hao Hung fleet. They will mainly handle short-haul port drayage from a woodchip plant to Chan May Port — a one-way trip of about 150 km, representing a fixed-route, high-frequency, heavy-load shuttle operation.
The formal delivery of 50 EVC61 new-energy tractors to Vietnam's Hao Hung Group marks Qingling's electric commercial vehicles in Vietnam moving from the pilot-validation stage into a new phase of large-scale operation.

Integrated Operations: Meeting Customer Needs and Supporting Operational Assurance

Chan May Port is a core deep-water port in central Vietnam and a key distribution hub for Hao Hung Group's exports, with fixed transport routes and high round-trip frequency. This batch of electric vehicles serves container transport, optimizing energy consumption and operating costs for short- and medium-haul transport. It advances low-carbon operations and the shift toward green transformation, guiding the local logistics industry toward a greener, more efficient and more sustainable future, and further strengthening Hao Hung Group's competitiveness in the supply chain and China-Vietnam cross-border logistics.

Qingling coordinated multiple departments from the front end, following the entire chain — from business-plan alignment and product-adaptation development to delivery quality verification and after-sales support — to ensure stable full-lifecycle vehicle operation in overseas markets. Qingling has assembled a dedicated support team comprising development, quality, after-sales and marketing personnel, and established on-site service, pre-positioned spare parts, localized technical training and rapid-response mechanisms to safeguard vehicle operations.
Moving Forward Together: Embracing Green Transformation Opportunities

As a key state-owned enterprise under the Chongqing municipal government and a chain-leading enterprise in intelligent connected new-energy commercial vehicles, Qingling has been deeply engaged in the commercial vehicle industry for more than 40 years. Grounded in Chongqing's industrial positioning and committed to high-quality development, it has built a complete innovation chain and industrial chain spanning core components, key assemblies, multi-category vehicles and multiple technology routes, with a full manufacturing process system and comprehensive strength ranked among the industry's first tier. This 50-unit delivery provides an important, replicable market template as Qingling's new-energy commercial vehicles in Vietnam move from small-batch trial operation to large-scale rollout.

The outlook for new-energy trucks in Southeast Asia is bright. Within the next 3–5 years, urban light logistics vehicles will be the first to achieve large-scale replacement of diesel with electric; medium- and heavy-duty trucks, meanwhile, will depend on a closed-loop industrial chain and the build-out of charging and battery-swap infrastructure. Vietnam's local electric commercial vehicle market is entering a high-growth window, accelerating green transport infrastructure and seeing steadily rising demand for low-carbon transport equipment. The deployment of these vehicles is both an important step in Hao Hung Group's upgrade to a green fleet and a pragmatic project of China-Vietnam industrial-chain collaboration and green economic and trade cooperation.
